Knowledge and Experience

From insight to action in greenlandic sports

The Sports Confederation of Greenland works strategically with knowledge, experience, and documentation as the foundation for the development of sport and physical activity throughout Greenland. We believe that the best decisions are made based on knowledge of what works and why.

A Shared Knowledge Base

We work to ensure that municipalities, federations, and associations have access to a shared and practical knowledge base.

We achieve this through:

  • A shared knowledge and information-sharing platform
  • Standardised methods for data collection and evaluation
  • Collaboration with municipalities and partners
  • Partnerships with research and knowledge institutions
  • Active dissemination of knowledge to ensure it is applied in practice

From Data to Action

Our approach to knowledge development follows a clear process:

  1. Data – we collect comparable data
  2. Analysis – we identify patterns and effects
  3. Insight – we translate knowledge into recommendations
  4. Action – we implement solutions in practice

This ensures that knowledge leads to real improvements in sport and physical activity.

Learning and Development in Practice

We continuously conduct analyses and evaluations to:

  • Understand the needs within sport
  • Monitor developments and trends
  • Improve initiatives and programmes

Knowledge is actively shared through platforms, partnerships, and practice-oriented formats, ensuring that it can be used in everyday work.

Results

By combining data, experience, and knowledge sharing, we contribute to:

  • Better decision-making
  • Stronger initiatives and programmes
  • Long-term development of sport in Greenland

Through knowledge-driven development, we create a stronger foundation for sustainable growth, innovation, and participation in sport and physical activity across Greenland.
