

The Youth Sports Injury Fund provides financial support for the assessment and treatment of sports injuries sustained by young athletes aged 14 to 25, when the necessary treatment cannot be adequately provided through the Greenlandic healthcare system.
The fund may cover costs related to both medical examinations and treatment, including travel and accommodation abroad, if this is necessary to enable the athlete to return to sport as quickly as possible.

Applications must be submitted to the Greenland Sports Confederation (GIF) no later than three months after the injury occurred.
