Active workplaces

Create wellbeing, health, and stronger communities in your workplace

Active workplaces is a targeted course designed to provide leaders and employees with inspiration and practical tools to create healthier and more active workplaces across Greenland.

The course is based on real workplace situations and everyday practices, focusing on how both small and large initiatives can contribute to improved wellbeing, motivation, and a stronger sense of community among employees.

What is the course about?

During the course, participants work on developing and implementing activities that promote health, wellbeing, and job satisfaction within their organization.

A key focus is on creating sustainable changes that can become embedded in the culture of the workplace.

The programme combines presentations, dialogue, and hands-on exercises. Participants actively work with practical cases and ideas that can be taken back and implemented directly within their own organization.

What you will gain

As a participant, you will receive:

  • Practical ideas for increasing movement and physical activity in everyday working life
  • Tools to strengthen wellbeing, collaboration, and employee engagement
  • Inspiration from other organizations and examples of best practice
  • Opportunities to network and exchange experiences with participants from other workplaces

Become an Aalasa ambassador

An important part of the course is the opportunity to become an Aalasa Ambassador.

As an ambassador, you will be equipped to:

  • Act as a role model for a healthy and active workplace
  • Initiate new activities and wellbeing initiatives
  • Motivate colleagues and contribute to a stronger workplace culture

Who is the course for?

The course is relevant for both leaders and employees who wish to take an active role in promoting health and wellbeing in their workplace.

Organizations are encouraged to send multiple participants, enabling the knowledge and initiatives to be broadly anchored throughout the organization.

An investment in wellbeing and development

With Active workplaces, your organization gains a shared foundation for working strategically with health, wellbeing, and employee engagement.

The course provides both inspiration and practical tools to help create a more active, motivating, and sustainable workplace for everyone.
