The Amateur and Disciplinary Committee consists of five members elected by the Representative Assembly for a two-year term. Elections are held in odd-numbered years, during which a Chairperson, four committee members, and two alternate members are elected.
The Amateur and Disciplinary Committee of the Greenlandic Sports Confederation (Kalaallit Nunaanni Timersoqatigiit Kattuffiat) serves as an appeals body for the Amateur and Disciplinary Committees of the individual sports federations. It handles cases in which a party has appealed a decision made by a federation's own Amateur and Disciplinary Committee.
The Committee also acts as the court of first instance for clubs that are not affiliated with a sports federation, handling cases where a party has lodged a complaint regarding a decision made by such a club.
Accordingly, only members of the Greenland Sports Confederation (Kalaallit Nunaanni Timersoqatigiit Kattuffiat) may have cases considered by the Amateur and Disciplinary Committee.
