Badminton

Badminton Kalaallit Nunaat (BKN) was founded in 1973 and is a member of the Badminton World Federation (BWF).

Greenland’s national badminton teams have participated in the World Championships as a team and in the European Championships in individual competitions. Greenlandic badminton players also compete in the Arctic Winter Games and the Island Games.

BKN organizes national championships for youth and senior players.

The federation currently has 584 active members and 12 affiliated sports clubs across Greenland.
